At Word Nerds, we know that getting started can be the hardest part. Whether you’re staring at a blank slide deck, struggling to write your elevator pitch, or overthinking your next LinkedIn post, sometimes you just need a push, or a nerd.
That’s where our new service comes in.
Meet Ask a Nerd
Ask a Nerd is a first-draft content service where you provide us with the basics and we deliver a first draft — fast. We use our expertise in content strategy, UX writing, and information architecture to break the writer’s block.
It’s like having a content partner in your pocket. Someone who can translate your idea into clear, helpful, and audience-ready language.
What Can You Ask For?
Just about anything that needs words:
An elevator pitch to get your team on the same page
A few starter slides for your product vision
A blog post to share your expertise
A marketing blurb to explain your tool
A LinkedIn post that doesn’t sound like everyone else
A punchy paragraph to kick off your newsletter
You tell us what you need and who it’s for, and we’ll draft something that’s not just words, but words with purpose.
How It Works
After purchase, it takes just a few steps.
Fill out the 'Ask a Nerd' form. You tell us what you’re working on, what it’s for, who it’s for, and what tone you want.
We strategize to create a solid first draft based on your input.
You take it from there – Review, revise, and make it yours. Or come back and nerd out with us for a deeper dive.
🛑 But Wait — It’s Not Magic (Or Legal Advice)
This is a first-draft service, not a finished product. You’re still responsible for making sure what you use is accurate, appropriate, and on-brand. We won’t include anything sensitive, and you shouldn’t either.
But if you need a starting point, clarity, or just someone to help you think in sentences instead of stress, we've got you.
